A pictorial plan of how beautiful the resting place of Ghana’s late President, Pro Evans Fiifi Atta-Mills will look like has popped up on social media.
The place named Asomdwee Park to exhibit the peaceful nature of the former President lies between the Independent Square and the Osu Castle otherwise known as the Christiansborg castle.
Being funded by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government under the auspices of the Coastal Development Authority (CODA), the GHc4.4-million Asomdwee Park Redevelopment Project, when completed would host offices, car parks and ten(10) other graves aside that of the late President.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Atta-Mills Institute and former aid to the late President, Mr Koku Anyidoho shared the artistic impression of the edifice neatly designed and decorated with the red, yellow, green colours of the Ghana flag together with the black star.
Sharing the pictures sighted by sabatozmediaghana.blogspot.com on Monday, July 25 in a post, Mr Anyidoho wrote;
“By the kind grace of God Almighty; and thanks to the Administration of President Akufo-Addo, this is how the Asomdwee Park shall be, when it is constructed. Somebody Refused to do it; Somebody is doing it! God bless our Homeland Ghana”.
In another, he noted the Atta-Mills Institute will make sure the place was ready next year to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the passing of the late President.
“This legacy of Prez Akufo-Addo will stand tall! Humbly, Koku Anyidoho and the Atta-Mills Institute will find space in making sure that Asomdwee Park was built. Next year; 10 years after the death of President Atta-Mills; Prez Akufo-Addo shall commission this project for Ghana”.
