Company supports mothers and newborns through corporate social responsibility initiative

KUMASI, GHANA — Softcare FM Manufacturing Limited has donated Allround Baby Pants to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi as part of an initiative aimed at supporting mothers, newborns and healthcare-related community needs.

The donation forms part of the company's corporate social responsibility activities and reflects its commitment to contributing to the welfare of families and communities.

The initiative, held at KATH, brought together representatives of Softcare FM Manufacturing Limited and members of the hospital community for the presentation of the baby-care products.

According to the company, the initiative is intended to provide practical support to mothers and caregivers while promoting proper baby care and community engagement.

The donated Allround Baby Pants are intended to support infant hygiene and comfort, providing an essential baby-care product to families and caregivers.

Softcare FM Manufacturing Limited also used the initiative to emphasize the importance of supporting mothers, caring for newborns and strengthening communities.

The company said community engagement remains an important part of its corporate responsibility activities, particularly initiatives that directly benefit families and children.

Supporting Healthcare and Communities

The donation to KATH highlights the potential role of private-sector organizations in complementing efforts within Ghana's healthcare sector through targeted community-support initiatives.

For a major healthcare facility such as KATH, support from organizations and community partners can contribute to addressing some of the practical needs associated with patient and maternal care.

Softcare FM Manufacturing Limited's engagement with KATH is therefore part of its broader effort to connect its products and corporate activities with meaningful community initiatives.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives focused on mothers, newborns, baby-care education and community engagement.
